My Mango Tiramisu Stories

Will you ever get tired of eating the same fruits, over and over again??
I do!

I used to love pink ladies apples, but now I would walked pass the stall without even picking one! Same goes with durian (yes the king of all fruits!!!), I grew up eating and loving durians but now I can do without.

But mangoes, I can never get enough of mangoes!!! love them.

Mangoes were selling cheap at the grocer. They were selling for 99 cents per piece.

I had mango shopping spree and within a week I hauled 40 mangoes, stashed everywhere in my fridge!

What is Mango Tiramisu?

What do I do with lots of mango?

I made Mangomisu!!

Mangomisu or Mango Tiramisu is a combination of classic Italian dessert, but instead of using chocolate, tropical fruit like mango slices are added.

I would say a tropical twist to the classical tiramisu.

Furthermore, this is "Kids friendly dessert"!!
This is an alcohol free dessert.

How to make mango tiramisu

How To make Mango Tiramisu?

The steps are laid down in the printable recipe below.

Mango Tiramisu, is a must try dessert for mango lovers!!

Its simple yet rich in flavours and of course anything with mango is always delicious.

The recipe adapted from Delicious magazine.

In the original recipe, egg was used, however, I was concern with raw eggs and salmonella, hence eggs were omitted.

I did a simple mix of mascarpone and double cream with sugar.

How to serve Mango Tiramisu?

I love to serve Mango Tiramisu in a glass.

It looks classy and elegant when entertaining few close friends.

Or you can make it in a springform cake pan for parties!
Either way, Mango Tiramisu is just superb and delicious for summer.

For my Malaysian readers, if Savoiardi fingers are not available or expensive, not to worry, I have got you covered.

A cheaper alternative for you to make Mango Tiramisu, would be using kuih bahulu!
The taste is just like those expensive Italian finger biscuits, Savoiardi!!

How Do I keep these Mango Tiramisu?

Cream and mascarpone cheese are the two main ingredients in making Mango Tiramisu, hence it is strongly advisable to always keep Mango Tiramisu in the refrigerator.

How Long Can be Kept in the Refrigerator?

The best is 3 days.

After that period, the mango slices will start to bleed and making the mango tiramisu soggy!
