Easy, No Bake Cherry Tarts with Tim Tam Biscuits

June 27, 2014
Super tasty homemade cherry tarts are easy to make and taste fantastic.

Tim Tam Cherry Tartlettes

Tim Tams....  irresistible and can't just stop at ONE!!! (anyone out there...doesn't like Tim Tams???)
Its rich but it is so... so good :), even better when Tim Tams are on "sale"...  less than $2 for a packet of 300g!!!

More than one packets would definitely find their way into my shopping trolley. And once home, I have to stashed these babes in my little storeroom... out of my son's sight... yes that growing up boy could finish them all in a day...only leaving traces and crumbs behind (sometimes...empty packet in the fridge grrrrr !!!!)

Tim Tam :D

Tim Tam Cherry Tartlettes

My initial plan was to bake Tim Tam with raspberry (from one of the food magazines), however the plan was derailed as I had to use my mascarpone cheese!!!
These tartlettes turned out great.

Lastly I would like to wish my family, friends and readers (who celebrates)...

  2. I don't think I could choose between the photos. I think they're both great! And your tartlettes are so pretty.
We don't have Tim Tams in Canada - I'm hoping my travels take me to Australia someday so I can try them.

  8. Those look awesome! I haven't ever tasted tim-tams though, but thanks to a well known searching machine I think I have an idea now how they might taste ;-). I would prefer the second photo - I think the styling is more balanced as well as the lines and the cherries look darker :)
