Eggless Chocolate Cookies with Crushed Candy Canes are a "perfect holiday" cookies.

Yay!!! It is Friday and count down to holiday and 2021 will start soon. Even though I do not celebrate Christmas, but I have friends near and far, who celebrate, hence, I am in the mood to bake some Eggless Chocolate Cookies with some Crushed Candy Canes.
Festive Flavour Cookies
Peppermint, candy canes around December is synonymous to Christmas.Combine those two flavours plus chocolate (who does not love chocolate, eh!!!), you have these chewy festive cookies, ready to share with friends and neighbours.
Plus point these candy canes chocolate cookies are vegetarian friendly.
How to Make Chocolate Peppermint Cookies

1. Dry ingredients : Plain flour, corn flour, almond meal, cocoa powder, baking soda
2. Sieve dry ingredients twice
4. Add peppermint essence
6. Add crushed candy canes
7. Sprinkle some crushed candy canes once out of the oven, while the cookies are still piping hot (be careful not to burn your fingers!!)
8. Cool on cooling rack before storing

Can you crushed candy canes using food processor?
To be honest, I prefer to crush candy canes using food processor. Its clean, less mess and zero runaway plastic bit and pieces in your dough.Why?
If you are crushing candy canes using ziplock bag, please make sure you use a good grade ziplock bag. Inferior ziplock bag tend to fray and you will end up with bit and pieces of torn plastic in your cookies!What else can you make with candy canes?
