A perfect accompaniment to idli and dosa, made with simple ingredients.




Despite my failed dhosa/ tosei.
I am happy with coconut chutney, my Cheat coconut chutney ;P.

It was received by all especially my son.

In my last post, my attempt to make tosei/ dhosa failed miserably, if not for potato masala and coconut chutney, most likely we would ended up eating instant noodles or sandwiches ;P

Just in case you are wondering why cheat... :D
There were few items that I didn't have either in my pantry or fridge... like green chilli, red chilli, asafoetida and... I used up all my urud dhall :(
but be assured.... lack of  few ingredients doesn't mean that taste was compromise...
