- 1 bowl of ikan bilis (dried anchovies from Asian grocer) - soaked and roughly 'blend'
- 1 brown onion - thinly sliced
- 1 dried chilli - cut into thin strips
- salt
- chilli powder
- tumeric
- 2 cups of plain flour
- Oil for deep frying
