So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeletethis is a comment on your Mee Java recipe from 2013 (this shows how long I have "saved " your
recipe)
I just made it tonight for dinner tonight and the 4 of us- hubby, grandson and maid slurped it up
in record time. We enjoyed it so much that I think we all ate too fast, and now all are sprawled with over-full
tummies!
Grandfather and grandson are watching Soccer on Tv now and I felt I must write and thank you for sharing
such a "great" recipe. We can get mee java and rojak from the numerous Mamak stalls in Ipoh but
with all the "aji-n-moto" and rising costs this was such a tasty delight to prepare.
I didn't make the fritters as I cant stand too long (also had knee arthroscopy 2 years ago like you) but it was
still a "thumbs-up" from all. The limau kasturi is a "must" and makes all the difference!
Thanks once again and God bless,
Mrs Singh, Ipoh
Hi Mrs Singh,
DeleteThank you for your feedback and kind comment, you make my day :D.
I am happy to read that your family thoroughly enjoy mee java :D
and yes limau kasturi is a must for this dish, unfortunately limau is difficult to come by, its seasonal over here.
thank you
Have a good week and GOD bless you and family too
Cheers
