The santan was never cooked though, it was chilled with the mangoes in them and we used to fight who would get the last spoonful of the kuah santan. Pengat is a lil bit different where the santan is cooked together with the rest of the selected buah or ubi. Both are delicious. Too bad my kids don't quite like them, my husband too.
